The Boxer Life – A 4 week clean-eating and home workout body revolution

Every woman wants to feel confident in their skin – we want to train, be strong and eat good food. For many of us however, our lives are too busy and we are just plain exhausted to get to the gym or meal prep. Aside from that, sticking to a strict diet is tiring, nauseating and often quite heavy on the pocket. As a personal trainer, I am wary of encouraging my clients to start strict diets. For one, cutting out your normal way of eating is incredibly unsustainable and if we’re being honest, so so boring.

The truth is, if we want to look and feel good about ourselves, we have to eat right and up our physical activity. Which is why, I’ve put together this easy to follow, complete lifestyle package. The Boxer Life is a 4 week program, consisting of a clean eating plan and a comprehensive home workout schedule which is perfectly suited to whip your body and mind into shape, in the comfort of your own home.

The Eating Plan

I won’t waste your time with unnecessary motivational nonsense. We are all busy woman,  (she says while typing away on her couch and binge watching “Keeping up with the Kardashians”) this is why you should be buying this plan.

  1. Standard carb cutting diets suck. A healthy lifestyle consists of permanent and sustainable lifestyle changes – cutting out carbs and completely changing the way we normally eat is unsustainable and sooner or later, your body will start demanding to eat that chocolate cake in the fridge and you’ll be spiraling back to your old unhealthy eating habits. The Boxer Life consists of an eating plan that does not ask you to eat salads and fruit 24/7, 365. All recipes are 100% suitable to the human pallet, particularly the indian one. Afterall, our ancestors did not travel by boat for 3 to 4 months with all their spices, just to have you eating boiled chicken all day long.
  2. Speaking from experience, the reason most of us abandon our diets after the initial excitement wears off, is because cooking a separate meal for yourself and the other humans in your house is just annoying. All the recipes included in this plan are fit for the family, yet still packed with nutrients. Feed the little humans, and get healthy in the process, win win situation, I say.
  3. We all know that our grocery cabinets are unpredictable. The plan takes into consideration that sometimes our only option is to improvise. No ingredients? No problem. The plan includes a range of side dishes so you can mix and match depending on what you have available.

The Workout

The home workouts are all approximately 25 minutes long, combining both cardio and strength training. They are easy to follow, fun and sure to have you breaking into a sweat. As part of the package, you get 2 home workouts and 2 online workouts per week. The plan includes a workout diary, baseline fitness tests and measurements and a goal planner so you can track your fitness goals and smash them!

All you need to follow the workouts is a skipping rope, an exercise mat, your water bottle and your game face and you are ready to go.
